Dr. Abdul Hakeem bin Hilal al Ismaiel, director general of technical education in Oman stated a total of 6,103 male and 5,432 female students are enrolled at the six technical colleges this year. According to <i>ONA</I>, he added in a statement that 5,300 students will be admitted during this academic year.
