Oman and the Sultanate of Brunei held on Monday talks on bilateral relations in various fields, with focus on oil and gas cooperation, reported Oman News Agency (ONA).
The agency quoted Oil and Gas Minister Mohammed bin Hamad al Rumhi, as saying the talks between him and Brunei’s Behen Datu Abdul Rahman, Industry and Basic Resources Minister were topped by current international oil prices and other international economic issues of mutual concern.
The two sides also touched on expertise exchange in the oil and gas sector and activation of bilateral cooperation to utilize each other’s experiences, he told ONA.
Crude oil and liquefied natural gas are the main exports of Brunei Darussalam. In 1996, oil and gas accounted for about 36% of the country's Gross Domestic Product – Albawaba.com
