An official source at the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) asserted on Monday that the ministerial meeting will open Wednesday as scheduled.
The Source told Kuwait news agency (KUNA) that the organization has not received any apologies from participating countries.
He added that the meeting is scheduled to discuss the consequences of the terrorist attacks on the US. on September 11th, and due to Sunday’s US attack on Afghanistan, another item would be added to the agenda of discussions.
The source added that the terrorism issue to be discussed in the meeting and the attacks on Afghanistan are issues that several Arab and Islamic countries are willing to explore, in addition to agreeing a definition of terrorism, especially as they fear that the US might widen the circle of strikes, to include other Arab and Islamic countries.
