ALBAWABA - Policemen in the Netherlands are dealing with a situation where many people were taken as hostages in the town of Ede, police posted on X (formerly Twitter).
According to AFP, police have evacuated many houses and the town centre was shut down due to the incident.
In a statement, police revealed: "A hostage situation involving several people is underway in a building in the centre" of the town of Ede.
A video was posted on social media believed to be from near the cafe where a person held multiple people with claims of "possessing bombs," according to X users.
