The National Health Insurance Company - Daman held an Iftar gathering for healthcare providers who are members of its provider network with the aim of strengthening the ties between the company and its members. The event was held on Sunday 8/10/2006 at the Hilton Abu Dhabi and was attended by over 250 people, including clinical and administrative staff from Daman’s network providers, and Daman’s staff and management.
“The Iftar dinner is a cultural interaction between Daman and their network providers and an opportunity to express our appreciation for their efforts in supporting Daman. We believe that maintaining a strong relationship with our providers will emphasize the importance of building a healthy community together” said Dr. Michael Bitzer, CEO of Daman.
Daman is planning a schedule of similar events in the future for other members of their health care network in the country.
