Following the introduction of the new health insurance law, the National Health Insurance Company – Daman is facilitating enrollment in the scheme for residents and workers in the Mussafah area by opening its first branch in the UAE capital. With efforts to spread its services over the largest geographical segment, Daman, has begun implementing its expansion plans by opening its first Abu Dhabi branch in the Mussafah area today.
“Daman is undergoing a major expansion plan that enables it to provide its service to a broad segment of clients. Mussafah is a highly populated area, with major industrial projects and an abundance of labor force, for this reason we have chosen this area to open our first branch that will cater to the needs of all our customers” said Dr Michael Bitzer, Daman CEO.
Catering to an industrial base over 8500 registered companies, Daman has chosen its Mussafah location to ensure maximum accessibility to all client segments. Daman is currently offering 5 different health insurance plans, which are the Abu Dhabi, the UAE, Regional, International, and Global plans. This branch will be the first of four other branches that the company is aiming to open in the next 3 months and will house fully operational departments offering the broad base of Daman product policies and member services. Daman will open the Al Ain, Madinet Zayed and Abu Dhabi Island Branch in Al Bateen Area in the coming months.
“The branch will comprise of reception and waiting halls for visiting customers, provide a full range of service including the production of policies and cards, customer service, member services, finance services, underwriting and sales” added Dr Bitzer.
The new branch, located in the intersection of the two roads 15 and 8 infront of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank in Musaffah, will provide a wide range of plans and health insurance services through sales specialists working from Sunday to Thursday at 8:00 am to 4:00 p.m.
