Mubarak stresses Syria security

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak stressed Thursday his country's keenness on security and safety of Syria, underling the connection of Syria's security and stability with the security of the Middle East region as a whole .

 

In statements to a local newspaper, President Mubarak voiced his objection to the pressures practiced on Syria, calling to the necessity of giving the priority to the policy of dialogue with its in all controversial issues. He emphasized the depth of the Syrian- Egyptian relations, pointing out to continued contacts between the two countries.

 

"Nothing should hinder the development of relations between Syria and Egypt," He added.
