Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak held Tuesday talks in Tunis with President Zein el-Abideen bin Ali on bilateral and regional issues, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
It added that talks mainly focused on the Middle East peace process and the Israeli elections.
The Egyptian president was accompanied by ministers of foreign affairs and information along with his political advisor Osama al-Baz, said the agency.
It added that the Egyptian President is due to arrive in Tripoli on a short visit for talks with Libyan Leader Moammer Kadhafi, said AFP.
Later in the, day he will head to Kuwait for a two-day official visit for ways of bolstering bilateral ties with the Gulf state -- Albawaba.com
