ALBAWABA - The Moulin Rouge windmill, one of Paris' most famous sights, collapsed overnight without injuring anyone, firefighters informed AFP on Thursday.
Firefighters in Paris stated there was no risk of further collapse. The cause of the tragedy, which occurred just months before the French city will host the Olympic Games, was unknown.
Images on social media showed the blade unit lying on the street below, with some of the blades slightly bent from the apparent fall.
