Morocco was invited to take part in a program called "Tous les cinémas du monde"(All the cinemas of the World), which will take place within the framework of the Cannes Film Festival from May 11 until May 22. The countries that were invited to participate in this program were announced by Gilles Jacob, the president of the Cannes Film Festival.
<i>Yabiladi</i> reports that apart from Morocco, Austria, Sri-Lanka and several Latin America countries were invited to take part in the event. According to an official statement made by the Festival Administration, “All the Cinemas of the World” is a program dedicated to the showcase of films from different cultures and it aims to promote the growth of the cinema by illustrating the richness of the world cinema.
