Morocco sends food aid to Nigeria

Morocco has decided to send urgently needed food aid to Nigeria, where nearly 1 million people suffer from famine. Moroccan Government representatives explained that the Moroccan assistance, which will be conveyed to Nigeria by planes owned by the Moroccan army, consists of tens tons of various products like dried milk, rice, preserved vegetables and fish.

<i>Bladi.Net</i> reports that Morocco is also going to send to Nigeria a military hospital, with 50 doctors and other medical personnel, which will be placed at the disposal of the Nigerian authorities for fast action on the ground.
