Revenues from the tourism sector in Morocco yielded DH21 billion ($1.9 billion), an official statement said, cited by the official Maghrebe Arab Presse (MAP).
The statement added that Morocco, which ambitions to attract 10 million tourists by 2010, has signed a total of 16 investment agreements both with national and foreign companies for a total value of DH10 billion ($909 million).
MAP said that the projects are expected to generate more than 17,000 direct jobs.
