Morocco’s King, EU Official Discuss Further Cooperation

Morocco’s King Mohammed VI held talks on Monday with the European Union commissioner for foreign relations, Christopher Patten, on ways to bolster cooperation in the various fields, reported the official Maghrebe Arab Presse (MAP). 

Patten said his talks with King Mohammed focused on the joint association agreement, the Barcelona process and enforcement of the MEDA program as well as immigration and fisheries.  

Patten also proposed technical assistance to the project to set up a free trade area between Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt and Jordan, said MAP – Albawaba.com
