Moroccan exports of sea products generate Dh10 billion ($909 million) annually, Morocco’s official news agency (MAP) reported.
Exports of fresh fish increased this year by 41 percent, while those of canned fish, fish oil and flour rose by 14 percent and 200 percent, respectively.
The agency said that the country produced about one million tons of sea products.
