Morocco's Royal Navy has reported on Friday that it has intercepted a boat carrying some 50 suspected illegal immigrants off the country's western coast, Panafrican News Agency (PANA) reported.
An official communique was quoted by the agency as saying that “the suspects, including 24 nationals of Sub-Saharan African countries, were arrested Thursday.”
The others were Moroccans, including six women, the statement added.
The suspects were later handed over to the Royal gendarmerie (police) for further judicial procedures – Albawaba.com
