More than 80 boxers from 11 countries are expected to participate in the first edition of the Mohammed VI Boxing Trophy, due to be held from Dec. 14 to 19 at Ibn Yassine Sports Hall in Agdal, Rabat.
According to local press reports, this tournament is mainly held to give Moroccan champions a broader acquaintance with the technics and tactics of this sport. It also seeks to consolidate the friendly ties between the Moroccan Royal Boxing Association (FRMB) with its Arab, African and European counterparts.
