The Egyptian Company for Mobile Services, MobiNil, and AA-Technologies jointly hosted a two-day GSM Arab World Meeting, held in Cairo on February 19th and 20th, The Middle East reported.
The meeting, held biannually, brings together all the GSM operators in the Arab region to discuss issues of concern with the GSM Association, the Dublin-based governing body for all GSM operators worldwide, the paper said.
The regional working groups discuss issues such as international roaming, global marketing, harmonization of tariff principles, definition of accounting and billing procedures, legal and regulatory matters as well as any matters association members want to raise – Albawaba.com
