Tunisia's President Zine el Abidine Ben Ali announced a partial government reshuffle on Monday that sees two former ministers return to the government.

Fethi Merdassi was named industry and energy minister, replacing Moncef ben Abdallah, while Mohamed Raouf Najjar is expected to take over the education and training portfolio from Moncerj Rouissi, AFP reported.

Neither of the two replaced ministers was given a new portfolio.

Meanwhile, three new junior ministers were also named.

Amor Abed becomes minister for fishing and water resources, Khelil Lajimi becomes industrial development minister and Hatem Ben Salem inherits the African affairs brief from Youssef Mokaddem. (Albawaba.com)
