The photographer Ramon Masats opened on Wednesday, May 4, his photos exhibition at the House of Arts in Belvedere. The exhibition is organized by the Spanish Arts centre "Instituto Cervantes", in collaboration with the embassy of Spain, the Tunisian Ministry of Culture and with Lunwerg Editions. It will include a selection of 30 photographs taken by Masats' most known works in black and white.

Ramon Masats was born in 1931 in Caldes de Montbui. He is considered to be one of the best photographers of his generation and the first to follow the method of 'pure report', since 1957, by which he moved away from traditional esthetics and revolutionized photography of his time.

These unique achievements, reports the Tunisian La Presse newspaper, have granted him the national price of photography of Spain in 2004.
