Macron suspends New Caledonia electoral reform plan

ALBAWABA - Following long weeks of unrest, French President Emmanuel Macron announced suspending the electoral reform plan in the Pacific French territory of New Caledonia.

"The constitutional project on the electorate in New Caledonia has been suspended," Macron told reporters.
