The InterContinental Mountain Resort & Spa Mzaar-Lebanon announced the launch of the book, a project completed under the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism, which details the history of the charming and spectacular region that invites visitors to indulge in its natural surrounds catering to nature, sports and food lovers alike.

This manuscript touches on the history of skiing in Lebanon back in 1913 before unveiling the dream of Sheikh Salim El Khazen to build an authentic ski village in the region, starting in the 1950s to the establishment of the InterContinental Mountain Resort & Spa Mzaar in 2000.
The luxury hotel attracts visitors from across the globe, with Mzaar defining itself as a year round tourist destination offering everything from mountain climbing and skiing to water sports and sunbathing in the hotel solarium.
