Leading Swiss watchmaker Longines has announced the arrival of the new Les Elégantes de Longines collection for ladies, which captures the style and elegance of the 1920’s and 1930’s.
The new range of jewellery watches is inspired by three distinctive Longines timepieces from 1928 and 1931: two feature rectangular shaped cases and one is tonneau-shaped.
Available in 18-carat white gold, a diamond-set case and a black satin strap, all timepieces from the Les Elégantes collection feature rhodium-plated dials bearing Arabic numerals swept by blue-metal hands.
The first design features a rectangular case set with 50 Top Wesselton VVS diamonds weighing a total of 0.78 carats. Also rectangular in shape, the second model is embedded with 24 diamonds (0.86 carats) and four princess-cut stones. The third tonneau-shaped case is set with 36 diamonds representing 0.67 carats.
Longines is a member of Swatch Group Ltd, the world’s leading watch manufacturer and marketer, with no fewer than 158 production sites in Switzerland.
