A telephone call was made between the Libyan Leader and President Hugo Chavez of Venezuala.
During the telephone call, President Chavez praised the Libyan decision to get rid of banned weapons programs.
The conversation also touched on international issues of common interest, and the assertion to enforce cooperation between the two Latin and African spaces, Jamahiriya news agency reported.
