Libya to Recruit 1350 Egyptian Teachers

The Egyptian Manpower Ministry External Recruitment Department has set next Wednesday as the last day for accepting applications from higher university degree holders willing to work as secondary and technical teachers in Libya, the daily Al Gomhuria reported. 

The Minister of Manpower, Ahmed Al Amawi, has formed a committee to scrutinize the applications and choose those who satisfy the stipulated conditions for teaching English, chemistry, computer and science in addition to three years of experience in these fields. Salaries will be based on experience. 

The director general of employment, Nawal Naggar, said that the ministry had received 3,000 applications out of which 1350 male and female teachers would be chosen to sign their contracts and leave for Libya next week -- Albawaba.com
