Aligned with its ongoing aims to play an active role in bringing smiles to the faces of young individuals, members from the world’s leading producer of consumer electronics and digital technology LG electronics (LGE), and members from one of its agents in Jordan the Middle East Complex (MEC) both recently paid a joint visit to the Anas Bin Malik Center for Abandoned Children. The center, which is located at the Bayadir Wadi Sir area, is the home for 30 young boys.
Over an Iftar meal and the handing out of gifts, members from both entities got to know the boys at the center more. They enjoyed interactive talks, and good times, and the evening was deemed a learning experience for all sides involved.
When asked to comment on this joint initiative made between LGE and MEC, T. Y. Lee the General Manager of the LGE Amman Branch said:”We at LGE feel that we are an integral part of the communities we operate in. We support any initiative that promises a better quality of life for individuals across the kingdom. Ramadan is a time for giving and caring, and this is our way of sharing in this festive season. This isn’t the first initiative of its type that we take part in, and it certainly won’t be our last for we at LGE always believe that giving back to our community is a must”
