Aligned with its ongoing aim to strengthen it’s ties with the local media, and in celebration of the Holy Month of Ramadan, LG Electronics (LGE) recently invited Jordanian media representatives to an entertaining Ramadan evening. The evening which was held on October 11th 2006, at the Amman Grand Hyatt Hotel included a quiz night that came with an opportunity for all to win lavish prizes, accompanied by traditional music and good food.
The evening was organized by the LGE Media Club to be part of its event packed agenda. It was the second of its type to be organized by the Club, an initiative launched by LGE in August to recognize members of the local media for all their efforts.
The quiz night provided an atmosphere of fun and exhilaration, as all participants competed for the grand prizes. The grand prizes included a LGE Chocolate Phone, audio systems, DVD players, and lots more. Those who didn’t take part in the quiz enjoyed a traditional Ramadan ambience, and all attendees got the opportunity to interact with members of LGE’s management team, and the management of the Middle East Complex, an agent for LGE in Jordan.
When asked to comment on this evening, Mr. K.R. An, Product Manager of the LGE Amman office said, ”It gives us great pleasure to see the media representatives with us on this special Ramadan evening. We appreciate all the efforts they undergo to make our services and products known to Jordanian consumers, and our Media club is our way of commemorating their continual support, their diligence and loyalty in communicating our news to the public.
