The water level in Tunis' Lake Sijoumi was the main topic of a meeting of the Tunis council, which took place recently in the presence of the Minister for Environment and Durable Development. According to a report submitted to the Council, the water level has shown a significant decrease. The water level of the Lake currently does not exceed 45 centimeters. The council has decided that necessary measures will be taken regarding the situation of the Lake, adding that a new project will be launched for the creation of green zones in the area, which will cost about 3,900,000 dinars.
