Visiting Lebanese National Defense Minister Murad Abdul Rahim conferred in Tehran Tuesday with President Mohammad Khatami on expansion of mutual cooperation. At the meeting, President Khatami called Lebanon as land of cultures and traditions. According to the Presidential Office's press section, cited by IRNA, Khatami highlighted the existing potentials in Lebanon and said the country is considered as vanguard of resistance to enemy among all Muslim and Arab countries.
