At least 15 Iraqi civilians and Guardsmen killed in Ramadi

Gunmen launched an ambush Sunday in the city of Ramadi, killing eight Iraqi National Guardsmen and wounding 18 others, police said. The attack took place in the city center around 4:00 p.m., said Capt. Nasser Abdullah from the Anbar provincial police force.  

 

Also in Ramadi, US marines have killed several Iraqi civilians when a bus drove through a checkpoint, the US military and Iraqi police said. Police said seven died on Saturday, but the US military said three. (albawaba.com)
