Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement has threatened to "retaliate against the practices of the Israeli army towards the Palestinians,” which have resulted in the death of 34 Palestinians and the injury of more than 800 in four days of bloody confrontations.
In an interview with the Abu Dhabi TV, Ramadan Shalah said that “the world has to remember these hours when the time for revenge comes.” Referring to the killing 12-year-old Mohammad Durra in Gaza when the Israelis showered him and his father with live bullets, Shalah said “We will tear off the hearts of the Zionists as we have done before...and we will make their mothers cry blood in revenge for Um Mohammad’s tears.”
The killing of Muhammad Durra and the serious injury of his father moved the international audiences Saturday and Sunday when a video tape of the incident was screened all over the world. The video showed the father trying to protect his son from the Israeli fire with his body, before the child died in his father’s lap – Albawaba.com
