Motexha, the leading textiles and fashion exhibition, being held at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre (DIEC) from September 12-15, 2005, is showcasing the latest in fasehion to trade buyers at its trademark LaunchPad fashion shows.
The shows are a daily feature of the trade business routine at Motexha, and give potential buyers a chance to observe apparel the way it looks on the human physique as opposed to impersonal cloth racks and mannequins.
Akay Tekstil, the Turkish-based high quality knitwear manufacturer said, “LaunchPad is an ideal opportunity to show and tell, and enhances the profile of the exhibitors involved in the show.”
Similarly, Leonardo Chiasso, designer of the breathtaking line of Leonardo’s evening dresses stated, “It is extremely important, from a design point of view, to see dresses in form and fit on a moving, breathing human form. Clothe hangers can never substitute for a model.” Leonardo’s creations are sculpted into structured yet flowing garments enhanced with the delicacy of handcrafted flowers, petals and other adornments that wrap the feminine physique.
The LaunchPad show is held against a backdrop of active business-to-business trading both intra-exhibitors as well as with extraneous franchise agents and wholesalers.
Kris Line, the luxurious intimate wear designer, this morning entered into a discussion for a distributive agreement with Stuttgart fashion, sole distributor for the Turkish NBB brand. The last LaunchPad show will be held at 5:30 pm on 15th September 2005, the final day at Motexha.
