Kuwait's Emir, Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah, is expected to travel to the Saudi Arabian holy city of Mecca to perform the hajj, or Muslim pilgrimage, which falls in the second week of February, Kuwait’s foreign minister was quoted as saying Monday.
Quoted by Al-Watan, Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah, who is the Emir's brother, said, "Sheikh Jaber is in good health and will perform the hajj this year." (Albawaba.com)
