Kuwait’s emir, Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah, held talks Sunday with US envoy William Burns in Kuwait on the Palestinian crisis, reported the official Kuwait news agency (KUNA).
Burns arrived in the Gulf state on Saturday night, said KUNA.
No further details were given on the two men’s meeting.
Burns was appointed by US Secretary of State Colin Powell to help Palestinians and Israelis build a "timetable" for peace.
