A Kuwaiti investment company plans to construct a $60 million tourism complex in northern Syria, reported the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on Monday.
It said that the deal for the “Lake Assad” project was sealed by Syrian Tourism Minister Qassem Maqdad and an official from the private Kuwaiti Investment Co., Al Futuh.
The planned complex will cover an area of 300 hectares (740 acres), SPA added – Albawaba.com
