Kuwait Minister of Finance Mahmoud Al-Nouri headed to Algeria on Tuesday to take part in the Arab League Economic and Social Council meeting preceding the Arab Summit scheduled for March 22-23.
Ahead of his departure, Al-Nouri told <i>KUNA</i>, "the two-day meeting due to start tomorrow aims at discussing a number of issues related to joint Arab economic and social work to prepare the economic side of the final communique to be submitted to the Arab Summit."
During the meeting, the secretariat-general will present a detailed report on the developments in the Arab free trade zone and the abidance of Arab states to the decisions stipulated in previous summits.
