Kuwait deputy premier on way to Yemen

Kuwait's Deputy Premier and Defense Minister, Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah headed to Yemen Sunday on an official visit representing Kuwait at Yemen's celebrations of the 15th National and Unity Day.

Sheikh Jaber told reporters before his departure that the Premier, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah honored him to represent Kuwait and participate in the Yemeni national celebrations, <i>KUNA</i> reported.

He added that he will be meeting Yemeni President, Ali Abdullah Saleh to deliver to him a letter from the Kuwaiti political leadership, pointing out that before leaving for treatment, the Amir asked him to deliver his greetings to the Yemeni people.
