Kuwait Conference for Epilepsy Opens

Kuwaiti health minister, Dr. Mohammed al-Jarallah inaugurated the Kuwait Conference on Epilepsy. In the opening speech, he said that following up on the latest development in science and the continuation of medical education is an official requirement for all physicians. 

 

According to the minister, quoted by the Kuwaiti official news agency (KUNA), epilepsy is one of the most common illnesses in the country, therefore it is extremely important to discuss with international physicians the latest developments and scientific technologies in this field, he added.  

 

The chairwoman of the organizing committee of the conference, Dr. Asmahan al-Dhubaili, said that the technology of epilepsy treatment has witnessed great and quick advancement during the last decade, therefore, it was important to hold such a conference in Kuwaiti in order to catch up with such developments.  

 

The conference is attended by specialists from Canada, UK, France, Tunisia, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. (Albawaba.com)
