ALBAWABA - The Kirkuk Operations Command revealed that an unidentified drone over northern Kirkuk, where it crashed into a residential area, and debris flew across the street.
Local revealed that several explosions were heard near the drone crash site before an item, which was on fire, fell in central Kirkuk. Some reports claim that the drone is originally Turkish, however, no official confirmation has been announced.
The crash happened on Quds Street in the Tisin area. The area has been sealed off by security personnel, and intelligence services have launched an investigation into where the drone came from.
Police said that there were no casualties, but a portion of the drone ended up in a house's yard, where it caused a fire that the Kirkuk Civil Defense team immediately put out.
