King welcomes US Senator

According to PETRA, his Majesty King Abdullah II on Thursday received member of US Congress Carl Levin, who is currently on a tour to the region.
During the meeting, in the presence of US Charge De Affaires to Amman David Hale, the two sides reviewed the bilateral relations and the current situation in the Middle East, the Palestinian-Israeli peace process in particular.
His Majesty the King reaffirmed the importance of US exerted efforts contributed to restoring peace and stability in the
region.
