ALBAWABA- Rumors of King Charles III's death spread like wildfire after Russian media reported on a dubious "announcement," leading Buckingham Palace to swiftly deny the false claims.

The supposed statement, bearing the seal of the British monarch's official residence, claimed that the king had passed away unexpectedly. 

However, the palace issued a statement to Russian state-run news agency TASS refuting the report. 

King Charles III, aged 75, has been receiving treatment for cancer since late January.
