Iranian President Mohammad Khatami said in Qom Saturday that all have the duty to help the government that has come to power on the public votes because its success means the success of the whole nation.
During a press conference on the sidelines of a development project in Qom, Khatami said he would transfer all his experiences to the incoming government.
Furthermore, Khatami said that after the expiry of his presidential tenure, he would strive towards the elevation of Iran and its reputation worldwide and for defending the nation's prestige and dignity, IRNA reported.
He said that after his presidency, he would work on the idea of dialogue among civilizations and contribute to the development of the new sciences.
