Jordan Investment Trust P.L.C (Jordinvest) in cooperation with imcan for Brokerage and Trading are joining forces for the second consecutive year to host what is considered one of the major campaigns to battle hunger in Jordan during the Holy Month of Ramadan by way of daily Charity Iftar Meals (Mawa’ed Al-Rahman) This initiative stems from both firms’ eagerness to give back to their community in these festive times, and from their genuine sense of social responsibility.
Through this joint initiative, Iftar meals are being served throughout the Holy month of Ramadan to more than 300 people a day. These meals are to be served in a Ramadan tent located at the Saha Al-Hashimiyah area in downtown Amman. Jordinvest and imcan opted to position this initiative in the same area they did last year because they realize that this particular venue is one that is accessible to all members of the community, and this in turn ensures that meals will in fact be within the easy reach of those people in need. -
Commenting on this, Mr. Ahmad Tantash, Chairman/CEO of Jordinvest and Chairman of imcan, said "We, at Jordinvest and imcan, are firm believers in responding to the needs and interests of our community as a whole.
