An autopsy on the body of a two-year-old Jordanian boy has confirmed that there was no criminal activity behind his death, and concluded that the child had been killed by a wild animal, the Jordan Times reported Tuesday.
The severely mutilated body of Mohammad Suleiman was found on Sunday, after police searched for him for two days using sniffer dogs to ascertain his whereabouts in the Baqaa refugee camp area, the paper said.
Pathologists were quoted by the daily as saying that they were not yet able to determine what kind of animal might have killed the child.
Officials told the daily that the child had been in the company of his parents who went to the camp to visit relatives, and later went missing sometime after he was seen playing in the street.
Sources added it was likely that the child who was found some distance from where he had last been seen had been dragged to that area by an animal -- Albawaba.com
