Jordan's King Abdullah II flew to Geneva on Sunday to visit Emirati President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahyan in Switzerland, the official Petra news agency reported.
It said Sheikh Zayed was recovering from a series of medical tests, adding that Queen Rania accompanied the monarch on the short visit.
Sheikh Zayed, who has been in Geneva on holiday for the past several weeks, has met several world leaders as well as UN Secretary General Kofi Annan during his stay in Switzerland.
His meetings have been covered on Emirati television and in local newspapers, which have made no mention of medical tests.
Sheikh Zayed was last admitted to a private hospital in December for medical tests. The presidential office said doctors were "completely satisfied with the results" - AMMAN (AFP)
