Jordan’s King Abdullah II and Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak discussed during a phone conversation, ideas suggesting the establishment of the Palestinian state, news reports said in Amman on Sunday.
Al-Arab al-Yawm daily said that the Jordanian king and the Egyptian President have focused on ideas proposed on all levels over the establishment of the Palestinian state.
In the meantime, Petra news agency reported that the two leaders have talked about the developments in the Palestinian arena and Arab and international moves to stop violence throughout the region.
During their Saturday night phone conversation, King Abdullah and President Mubarak also reviewed proposals, aimed at ending the Israeli occupation on Palestinian lands as well as ending the suffering of the Palestinians.
Moreover, they exchanged views on bilateral relations, according to Petra. The phone call came after King Abdullah concluded a tour that included Belgium, France and Britain, during which the Palestinian cause topped the agendas. (Albawaba.com)
