A Jordanian dentist has been awarded first prize by the British Dentists Society for his research on new medical treatment for oral infections, reported the official news agency (Petra) on Tuesday.
Zeyad Dweiri, a dentist from the Jordanian University of Science and Technology (JUST), won the British Society's first prize for detailed research he presented to the society on developing new medical treatment for oral infections, and protecting elderly patients from mycosis infections without using any type of drug, said the report.
The Jordanian dentist was awarded the prize during the society's annual conference, which was held recently in London – Albawaba.com.
