Jordan's King Abdullah and Saudi foreign minister, Saud al-Faisal, asserted Saturday their keenness on exerting every possible effort to ensure the success of the upcoming Arab summit due to be hosted by Amman on March 27th, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The Saudi minister arrived in Amman on a surprise visit to the kingdom, and conveyed a message to King Abdullah from King Fahd on ways of expanding bilateral ties and the latest developments in the Middle East, said the agency.
The agency quoted a joint statement issued by the Saudi minister as saying that the two sides agreed on the "necessity of ensuring success of the next Arab summit and holding wide-scale consultations with the sisterly Arab states for this purpose." -- Albawaba.com
