Jordan plans to host the first Gulf Industries Exhibition on September 23-29, reported the official Jordanian news agency, Petra, citing a Saudi paper on Saturday.
The Saudi Arabic daily, Al Jazeerah, said the exhibition, organized by the Chambers of Industry Federation
in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), aims to introduce the Gulf industries and to increase trade cooperation between the council's member states and other Arab countries, whose products have reached an advanced
level of quality and price competitiveness.
Jordan has been chosen as the venue for the exhibit due to its favorable central location, which presents the country as a gate for exports to neighboring countries, the paper added – Albawaba.com
