Jordan and Egypt signed in Amman on Wednesday a cooperation agreement in the field of electricity.
The agreement was signed by Jordanian Minister of Power Mohammad Al-Batinah and Egyptian Minister of Power and Electricity Hassan Yunis.
According to the agreement, both countries will strengthen existing cooperation in the electricity field, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Jordan will also receive a certain quota of electricity from Egypt to fulfill its needs, the agency added. (Albawaba.com)
