ALBAWABA - Jordan's Public Security Directorate announced that a gas leak was reported inside a factory in Aqaba on Tuesday evening, Roya News reported.
The incident resulted in 22 injuries, all of whom were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
In detail, the Public Security Directorate's media spokesperson stated that a report was received by the operations room about the incident, and specialized ambulance and civil defense teams immediately responded to the site.
He added that 22 factory workers were treated, describing most of their injuries as mild to moderate. All are currently receiving treatment and medical observation.
